Sunny Buddies is an internal mentor/mentee program created for Liquid Sunshine, Keurig Dr Pepper’s internal design agency. As our team grew, we noticed new employees were often navigating their first few weeks with limited direction. Having experienced that same uncertainty when I joined the team, I helped develop a smallinitiative designed to make the transition feel more welcoming and supported.

 

I created the Sunny Buddies name and visual identity, including a retro-inspired illustration of two suns skipping together hand-in-hand to represent friendship and support during an unfamiliar transition. New employees receive a welcome card introducing their mentor, along with a QR code connecting them to helpfulresources, templates, and team assets. The program also includes a sticker andbadge to create 
a sense of belonging from day one.
